POLICY

Payment/Reservations

• Guided trips & Hut Rental: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation for all Beartooth Powder Guides reservations. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the start of the activity. Trips departing within 30 days from the reservation date must be paid in full at the time of reservation.
• Courses: A full payment is required to secure your reservation for all Beartooth Powder Guides courses.
• Poor weather conditions do not warrant refunds.
• Deposits/payments are non refundable, unless the yurt/cabin can be re-booked for the cancelled days or your position in the class can be filled. An $80 administrative fee will be assessed to all refunds.
• Trip insurance options available at https://www.travelexinsurance.com and https://www.travelguard.com.
• Payments may be made via MasterCard, Visa, cash, or check.
• A 4% Cooke City/Park County “resort” tax is applied to all trips.
• A 8% Montana State Accommodations tax will be applied to the Woody Creek Cabin and Mt. Zimmer Yurt.

Hut Policy

• First time visitors to the Mt. Zimmer Yurt or Woody Creek Cabin will be required to hire Beartooth Powder Guides for the “First Time Hut User Orientation.”
• Users are required to have a Group Leader. The Group Leader is required to have completed a minimum Level 1 Avalanche Course and also have taken a basic First Aid Course.

• A 12% tax will be charged to all lodging (4% Cooke City/Park County “resort” tax and 8% Montana State Accommodations Tax).
